Day 1:
Departure Flight.
Day 2: Sevilla
Arrive Sevilla airport, meet your Teach By Travel tour manager, and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After your orientation briefing, free time to explore before dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Sevilla
Guided city sightseeing tour of Sevilla where you will see the ornate Cathedral, the Tower of Gold, Plaza de Espana, and more. Dine like the locals with an included tapas lunch, followed by free time to enjoy this charming city of cobble-stoned streets and Moorish towers.
Day 4: Córdoba
Depart Sevilla and journey to the ancient city of Córdoba, which dates back to Roman times. Enjoy your guided city tour, including La Mezquita de Cordoba, built over 1,200 years ago. Free time to visit the Archaeological Museum, or the old Jewish Quarter. Dinner and overnight in Córdoba.
Day 5: Granada
Depart Córdoba and transfer to Granada, the last stronghold of the Moors, for a guided tour of Granada, including the Royal Palace and the spectacular landscapes and gardens of the Generalife. Tonight, enjoy private flamenco dance lessons! Learn the drama and passion of this famous Spanish dance, followed by a flamenco performance with dinner.
Day 6: Ronda
Board your coach and journey to Ronda, one of the famous White Villages. See the incredible gorge, dividing the town in half, the 18th century bullring, and the Old Quarter. Free time to explore on your own before dinner and overnight in Ronda.
Day 7: Cádiz
Pass picturesque white villages with Roman or Moorish archaeological remains and olive groves on your journey to Cádiz, thought to be the oldest city in Europe. The Phoenicians, Carthaginians, and Romans have all settled here at one point. Walking tour of Cádiz, with its ancient palaces, castles, cathedrals, churches, museums, gardens and natural parks.
Day 8: Cádiz
A free day in Cádiz! Stroll through the charming old quarters, where the cobbled streets open out into charming little squares. Stop at the Fine Arts and Archaeology Museum, where there is an eye-opening collection of pottery, crocks, jugs and glassware, and stunning paintings belonging to two unforgettable Spanish painters, Rubens and Zurbaran. Sit outside in a cafe and gaze up at the Moorish architecture. Or head to the beach to relax and enjoy some fun in the sun! Dinner and overnight in Cádiz.
Day 9:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
