Day 1:
Departure Flight.
Day 2: Berlin
Arrive at Berlin airport, meet your Teach by Travel tour manager, and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Orientation briefing, followed by a walking tour of Berlin's Kurfurstendamm. Dinner and overnight in Berlin.
Day 3: Berlin
Morning guided city sightseeing tour of Berlin. See Unter den Linden, Brandenburg Gate, Tiergarten Park, Alte Palace, and more. Free afternoon to continue exploring Berlin on your own, or take an optional exucrsion to Potsdam for a guided tour of Sans Souci Palace. Dinner and overnight in Berlin.
Day 4: Berlin - Prague
Depart Berlin and head south to Dresden, the former capital of Saxony. Walking tour of Dresden to view its 18th century architecture. Cross the Czech border and arrive in the heart of Bohemia, Prague, for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Prague
A local guide showcases Prague this morning, including the 1,000 year-old Hradcany Castle, former residence of Bohemian kings, the Old Town, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Jewish Ghetto, the Charles Bridge, the Golden Lanes, and more. Free time to stroll through lively Wencelas Square for a look at local life, or shop and explore. Dinner and overnight in Prague.
Day 6: Prague - Krakow
Morning departure from Prague. Stop for a visit in Brno to explore the natural and cultural beauties of the South-Moravian region. Proceed to Krakow for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Krakow
Guided city sightseeing tour of Krakow. See the Cloth Hall, Town Hall Tower, Wawel Castle, the Planty, the Florian Gate and more. Free time to explore this medieval city on your own before dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Krakow - Vienna
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery as you depart Krakow and journey on to Vienna. Stop en route for a visit to Bratislava, a city which boats its own special unique charm. Proceed to Vienna for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Vienna
Morning guided tour of Vienna, the birthplace of music. See the Spanish Riding School, Belvedere Palace, and enjoy an inside visit to Schoenbrunn Palace. Free afternoon to explore on your own. You may want to visit Prater Park and its giant ferris wheel, situated on an island formed by the Danube River and the canal. Or enjoy the many art museums, attend a Vienna State Opera concert, or view the homes of composers like Mozart and Haydn. Dinner and overnight in Vienna.
Day 10:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
