Day 1:
Departure Flight.

Day 2: Florence
Arrive in Florence to a welcome from your Teach By Travel tour manager. Transfer to your hotel for check-in, followed by an orientation briefing. Dinner and overnight in Florence.

Day 3: Florence
Sights of Florence this morning on your guided city sightseeing tour, including the Duomo, Santa Croce, and the Doors of Paradise. No visit to Florence would be complete without entrance to the Accademia to see the world-famous 'David.' Afternoon free to shop for treasures along the Ponte Vecchio. Dinner and overnight in Florence.

Day 4: Florence - Excursion to Pisa and Livorno
See important components of the Renaissance era of creative freedom which encouraged artists, scientists, writers and architects to create some of the world's most noted masterpieces. Morning departure to Pisa, to see the famed Leaning Tower. Also see the noble buildings, and webs of narrow, medieval alleys leading to the famed Piazza dei Miracoli. Continue on to the seaside port of Livorno, birthplace of the Italian language and the inspirational Renaissance movement. See the Piazza della Repubblica, the old fortress, and the seaside promenade. Return to Florence for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Florence - Verona
Depart for Verona, stopping at gorgeous Lake Garda for an included lunch. Enjoy your walking tour of Verona, featuring Romeo and Juliet's balcony, and the 12th century Romanesque Basilica San Zeno. Free time at lively Piazza Delle Erbe before dinner and overnight in Verona.

Day 6: Venice
Morning departure for Venice. The charm of Venice is yours today on your guided walking tour. See the Bridge of Sighs, Plaza San Marco, the Grand Canal, St. Mark's Basilica and the Palace of the Doges. Stroll through the tiny winding alleys, and watch the gondolas paddle down the canals. Free afternoon for the excellent shopping Venice offers. Dinner and overnight in Venice.

Day 7: Venice
Free day in Venice. Time to visit the open air markets of the Rialto Bridge, shop for gold and leather goods, or take an optional Gondola Ride. Dinner and overnight in Venice.

Day 8:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
