Day 1:
Departure Flight.

Day 2: Paris
Arrive Paris airport, meet your Teach By Travel tour manager, and transfer to your hotel. After your orientation briefing, free time to explore this cosmopolitan city before dinner and overnight in Paris.

Day 3: Paris
Morning guided city sightseeing tour. See the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame and more, before concluding at the Louvre for an inside visit. Afternoon visit to magnificent Versailles Palace, home of the Sun King, Louis XIV. Travel back in time to view court life - feel the grandeur of the Hall of Mirrors, the Grand Apartments and more. Stroll the Trianon Gardens before returning to Paris for a Special Dinner at the Eiffel Tower's Restaurant 58 Tour Eiffel.

Day 4: Paris - Reims - Champagne - Strasbourg
Depart Paris and stop in Reims, "The City of Coronations." Visit Notre-Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic art, which witnessed 32 French kings receiving their crowns. Marvel at the stained glass panels by Marc Chagall before heading to Champagne to tour wine cellars - the oldest parts of the wine cellars are located on the site of Gallo-Roman chalk mines dug in the 4th century. Board the new TGV EST to Strasbourg. Your walking tour of Strasbourg features la Petite France, Ponts Couverts and much more. Free time to explore the old streets and passages on your own before dinner and overnight in Strasbourg.

Day 5: Strasbourg - Colmar
Morning visit to the magnificent medieval Cathedral de Notre Dame, which soars over Strasbourg's Old Town, and stands on the site of a Roman temple. Journey along charming roads and villages of Alsace, Obernai, Barr and a stop in Koenigsbourg to see the castle. Arrive in Colmar to discover one of the widest European pedestrian precincts brimming with countless treasures from the Middle Ages to the 20th century! Visit the Dominican Church and the Unterlinde Museum, with its important collection of Rhenish paintings and sculptures, as well as the famous Isenheim Altarpiece, considered a masterpiece in World Art History. Dinner and overnight in Colmar.

Day 6: Colmar - Zurich
Follow the Rhein River until arriving in Schaffhausen to see the stunning Rhein Falls. On to Zurich to visit the Old Town, Fraumuenster Church with its renowned Chagall windows, historical Limmatquai and the University District. Enjoy spectacular views of the Alps as your drive along the Hoehenstrasse. Stop in the charming town of Rapperswil and see the Rose Gardens, the Castle, the deer park on the Lindenhof and the picturesque Old Town. Dinner and overnight in Zurich.

Day 7: Zurich - Oberammergau Area
Depart Zurich bound for Bavaria, with a stop at Lindau on Constance Lake. Continue to Fussen for a visit to Neuschwanstein, the fairy-tale castle of King Ludwig II. Arrive in Oberammergau and see the painted old chalets and the castle of Linderhof. Dinner and overnight in the Oberammergau area.

Day 8: Bavaria - Munich
Breathtaking views today - journey to Garmish and take the lift 10,000 feet high for unbelievable views of the Alps. Afternoon drive to Munich. Visit the Old District, including entrance to Residenz Palace and a walking tour of Marienplatz. See the famous Glockenspeil at the Old City Hall, before dinner and overnight in Munich.

Day 9:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
