Days 1/2: Rio de Janeiro
Overnight flight. Arrive in Rio de Janeiro, meet your Teach by Travel tour manager, and transfer to your hotel. Time to relax, unpack, and explore your new surroundings. Dinner and overnight in Rio.

Day 3: Rio de Janeiro - Sugar Loaf
Start the day with a sightseeing tour of Rio, followed by an excursion to Sugar Loaf. A two-stage cable car brings you atop famous Sugar Loaf Mountain where you will enjoy a unique postcard view of Guanabara Bay, Rio and Copacabana Beach. Also included is a visit to H. Stem Gem Factory, the largest jewelry store in the world.

Day 4: Rio de Janeiro - Tropical Island Cruise
A delightful day of fun and sun in gorgeous Sepetiba Bay, located less than an hour's drive south of Rio. This tour includes a scenic drive along the coast, to the quaint fishing village of Itacurussa, continuing on two-mast schooners, cruising among hundreds of mostly uninhabited islands. A buffet lunch is served on private Bernardo Island, with leisure time for swimming, beach combing and sun bathing. Late afternoon return to your hotel.

Day 5: Rio de Janeiro - Iguazu Falls
Transfer to the airport for your short flight to Iguazu, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Walk the many paths which lead along the lush Tropical Basin to the "Devil's Throat." Dinner and overnight in Iguazu Falls.

Day 6: Iguazu Falls - Buenos Aires
Morning flight to Buenos Aires. Check into your hotel, where your tour manager gives you an orientation briefing. Free time to explore Buenos Aires on your own.

Day 7: Buenos Aires
Morning guided city tour shows you the highlights of this dynamic city. See Plaza de Mayo, Avenida 9 de Julio, the Obelish, La Boca, and more. Leisure time to shop for local crafts.

Day 8: Buenos Aires - Fiesta Gaucho Tour
Morning departure from your hotel. Journey to a colorful Argentine feast in the Pampas today. Experience live entertainment by gauchos, along with your included lunch. Enjoy the enchantment of the Argentine landscape as you watch the sulkys,or try your hand at horse-back riding like the natives. Watch the amazing horsemanship of the gauchos and the sport called carreras de sortijas. Return to your hotel in early evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Buenos Aires - Santiago
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Santiago, Chile. Time to relax, unpack, and explore before dinner and overnight in Santiago.

Day 10: Santiago
Morning guided sightseeing tour features La Moneda Presidential Palace, Bernardo O'Higgins and Republic Avenues, Cerro San Cristobal, the Pre-Columbian Museum and the Enoteca Wine Museum. Free afternoon for your personal sightseeing agenda.

Day 11: Santiago - Valaparaiso - Vina del Mar
Morning guided excursion to the colorful port city of Valapariso and Vina del Mar, Chile's fashionable beach resort. Afternoon return to Santiago for your final dinner and overnight.

Day 12:
Evening transfer for return flight.
