Day 1:
Departure Flight.

Day 2: Madrid
Arrive at Madrid airport, meet your Teach by Travel tour manager, and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After your orientation briefing, time to explore on your own before dinner and overnight in Madrid.

Day 3: Madrid
Guided city sightseeing tour of Madrid, where you will see the Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Ciebles, the Cervantes Memorial, and more, including entrance to the Prado, where you will view masterpieces by Velazquez, El Greco, and Goya, among others. Free time to enjoy Retiro Park, visit the National Museum, the Queen Sofia Art Center, or the Royal Tapestry Factory. Try the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts, shop for souvenirs, or take in the lively scene at Plaza Mayor. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.

Day 4: Madrid - Sevilla
Morning excursion to the Royal Palace for a look at Spanish royal life, followed by a visit to Real Madrid (Santiago Bernabeu) Stadium, host of the European Cup Finals and the World Cup. Transfer to the train station to board the high-speed AVE train to Sevilla. Free time to explore Sevilla before dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Sevilla
Guided city sightseeing tour of Sevilla where you will see the ornate Cathedral, the Tower of Gold, Plaza de Espana, and more. Dine like the locals with an included tapas lunch, followed by free time to enjoy this charming city of cobble-stoned streets and Moorish towers.

Day 6: Sevilla - El Cortijo el Esparragal Excursion
Fascinating excursion to the working farm El Esparragal - from the ancient Tartessians to the Andalusians, El Esparragal has been inhabited by Romans, Visigoths, Muslims and Christians. Ancient ruins, baths, and woodlands reveal how each civilization inhabited and worked the land. Enjoy an included lunch before returning to Sevilla for your private flamenco dance lessons! Learn the drama and passion of this famous Spanish dance, followed by a Flamenco Performance.

Day 7: Sevilla - Córdoba - Granada
Depart Sevilla and journey to the ancient city of Córdoba, which dates back to Roman times. Enjoy your guided city tour, including La Mezquita de Córdoba, built over 1,200 years ago. Continue on to Granada for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Granada - Costa del Sol
Guided tour of Granada, including the Royal Palace and the spectacular landscapes and gardens of the Generalife. Continue on to the Costa del Sol for a Special Farewell Dinner.

Day 9:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
