Day 1:
Departure Flight.

Day 2: Montecatini
Arrive Florence airport and transfer to the charming spa-town of Montecatini for hotel check-in. Free time to relax and unpack before your Welcome Dinner.

Day 3: Montecatini - Lucca Excursion
Journey to Lucca, with its imposing 16th century ramparts still wrapped around the compact village and protected by massively thick 16th-century walls, featuring some of Italy's finest medieval and Renaissance architecture. View the fascinating Piazza Anfiteatro - Piazza of the Amphitheatre, built on the site of an original Roman amphitheatre. Some original Roman elements remain, particularly within the outer walls. See the churches San Michele in Foro and San Frediano, as well as the cathedral San Martino. Time to stroll along Via Fillungo, a lively street with elegant traditional shops, medieval towers and noblemen’s palaces. Return to Montecatini for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Montecatini - Chianti Excursion
Transfer to Chianti and see for yourself how fresh, local ingredients intensify the flavors of traditional Italian cuisine. Journey to a farmhouse in the Chianti hills, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. With expert guidance, you will cook (and eat!) a complete meal. Return to Montecatini for overnight.

Day 5: Montecatini
A day at leisure in Montecatini. Perhaps take advantage of the many and various spa treatments that are offered. Shop along Via Chipadale, or take the funicular to Montecatini Alto, the historic part of the town offering spectacular views. Dinner on your own.

Day 6: Montecatini - Florence
Sights of Florence this morning on your guided city sightseeing tour, including the Duomo, Santa Croce, and the Doors of Paradise. No visit to Florence would be complete without entrance to the Accademia to view the world-famous 'David.' An enchanting afternoon follows - transfer to a Tuscan castle and stroll the gardens before a wine tasting of local Chianti wine, followed by a Special Farewell Dinner in the magical Tuscany hills!

Day 7:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
