Teach By Travel - European Charms - Country Combination Tours
Day 1:
Departure Flight.
Day 2: Rome
Arrive Rome airport, meet your Teach By Travel tour manager and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After an orientation briefing, time to explore on your own before dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Rome
Morning guided city sightseeing tour of the Eternal City. See the Pantheon, St. Peter in Chains, the Colosseum, Forum and more, including the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. This evening, you may want to walk to the Spanish Steps, or window shop along the Via Veneto.
Day 4: Rome - Florence
Depart Rome and transfer to Florence. Free time to visit the Pitti Palace or the Boboli Gardens, or simply explore this fascinating city on your own before dinner and overnight in Florence.
Day 5: Florence
Sights of Florence this morning on your guided city sightseeing tour, including the Duomo, Giotto's Bell Tower, Santa Croce and the Doors of Paradise. No visit to Florence would be complete without entrance to the Accademia to see the world-famous David. Afternoon free to shop for treasures along the Ponte Vecchio. Dinner and overnight in Florence.
Day 6: Florence - Nice
Leave Florence and arrive at Pisa for a look at the famed Leaning Tower. Sit back and enjoy your drive along the Mediterranean as you journey to the French Riviera. Time to stroll the Promenade des Anglais before dinner and overnight in Nice.
Day 7: Nice
Get to know Nice this morning on your included walking tour, featuring the port, the flower market, and more. Board your coach for an excursion to the artist town of St. Paul de Vence. Spectacular scenery awaits you as your journey to this picturesque hilltop town. Included visit to a perfume factory for a fascinating look at perfume production. Return to Nice for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Nice - Paris
Transfer to the train station and board the high-speed TGV bound for Paris. Free time in Paris to climb the steps to Sacre Coeur for magnificent views of the city, or perhaps visit Montmartre and have an artist sketch your portrait.
Day 9: Paris
Start your morning in Paris with a guided city sightseeing tour. See the world famous symbol of Paris, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe and more, ending with entrance to the Louvre. You may want to spend your free afternoon in the Louvre, or window shop on the Champs-Elysées.
Day 10: Paris - London
Board the Eurostar and arrive London in less than 3 hours! Free time to visit the British Museum, the Tower of London, or Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Dinner and overnight in London.
Day 11: London
Start your day with a guided city sightseeing tour. See Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, and more. Afternoon free to cruise down the Thames, visit the National Gallery, or shop at world-famous Harrods.
Day 12:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
