Day 1:
Departure Flight.
Day 2: Costa del Sol
Upon arrival in the Costa del Sol, you will be met by your Teach by Travel tour manager. Transfer to your hotel, relax and unpack. Leisure time for catching some rays! Dinner and overnight in the Costa del Sol.
Day 3: Costa del Sol
A free day to relax at the beach, shop or explore. Or perhaps an optional trip to Tangiers and a visit to the Casbah and the marketplace full of lively sounds and sights. Dinner and overnight in the Costa del Sol.
Day 4: Mijas - Sevilla
Depart the Costa del Sol and see the white houses of Mijas that dot the landscape, enroute to Sevilla for a guided city sightseeing tour. Highlights include the Tower of Gold and the Gothic Cathedral. Enjoy this walkable city of cobblestones and orange blossoms. Dinner and overnight in Sevilla.
Day 5: Córdoba - Granada
Say goodbye to Sevilla as you depart for Granada, with a stop in Córdoba for a tour of the Great Mosque. On to Granada for a guided city tour, including the gorgeous Generalife Gardens and the Alhambra. Dinner and overnight in Granada.
Day 6: Toledo - Madrid
Morning departure from Granada to Toledo for a guided city tour, featuring the historic Alcázar, and the Church of Santo Tome. On to the capital city of Spain, Madrid, for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Madrid
Much to see today on your guided city sightseeing tour of Madrid, including the Plaza de Cibeles and the Puerta del Sol, ending with a visit to the Prado Museum to view El Greco's masterpieces and other magnificent paintings. You may wish to experience an optional Flamenco Show tonight, with dancing and drama like no other. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.
Day 8 : Madrid
Sun yourself in Retiro Park on your free day in Madrid, or opt to journey to Segovia to view the engineering marvel of the Roman Aqueduct. Also see the Gothic Cathedral and Alcázar on your optional excursion. Final dinner and overnight in Madrid.
Day 9:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
