Day 1:
Departure Flight.
Day 2: Flight - Madrid
Arrive Madrid airport, meet your Teach By Travel tour manager, and transfer to your hotel. Time to relax and explore before dinner and overnight in Madrid.
Day 3: Madrid
Start your day with a guided city sightseeing tour of Madrid, where you will see the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Cervantes Memorial and more, including entrance to the Prado, where you will view masterpieces by Velazquez, El Greco, and Goya, among others. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.
Day 4: Madrid - Segovia
Board your coach for your excursion to Segovia to see the architectural marvel of the Roman Aqueduct, the castle-palace of Alcazar, and the 16th- century Cathedral. Special included lunch today at the famous Meson de Candido. Return to Madrid for free time. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.
Day 5: Madrid - Barcelona
Morning departure to the train station, where you board your fast train to Barcelona. Time to walk along the Puerto Olimpico before dinner and overnight in Barcelona.
Day 6: Barcelona
Morning guided city sightseeing tour of the Catalonian capital, Barcelona. See the Gothic Quarter, the Olympic Ring, Las Ramblas, and more, concluding with Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, a masterpiece of Art Nouveau architecture. Free time to visit the Picasso Museum, or visit Gaudi's Parc Guell for a most interesting view of scultptures and mosaics.
Day 7: Florence
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Florence. Free time to visit the Pitti Palace or the Boboli Gardens, or simply explore this fascinating Renaissance city.
Day 8: Florence
Sights of Florence this morning on your guided city sightseeing tour, including the Duomo, Santa Croce, and the Doors of Paradise. No visit to Florence would be complete without entrance to the Accademia to see the world-famous David. Afternoon free to shop for treasures along the Ponte Vecchio. Dinner and overnight in Florence.
Day 9: Florence - Rome
Depart Florence and transfer to Rome. Time to explore the Eternal City before dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 10: Rome
Morning guided city sightseeing tour of Rome. See the Pantheon, St. Peter in Chains, the Colosseum and more, including the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. This evening, you may want to walk to the Spanish Steps, or window shop along the Via Veneto.
Day 11:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
