Teach By Travel - London, Paris and Barcelona - Country Combination Tours
Day 1:
Departure Flight.
Day 2: London
Arrive London airport, meet your Teach By Travel tour manager and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After an orientation briefing, time to explore on your own before dinner and overnight.
Day 3: London - Windsor
Start your day with a guided city sightseeing tour. See Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Tower Bridge, Big Ben and more. Afternoon excursion to an official residence of the Royal Family, Windsor Castle, the largest inhabited castle in the world. Free time to explore the town of Windsor before returning to London for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: London
A free day in London! You may want to visit the British Museum, the Tower of London, or Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Cruise down the Thames, visit the National Gallery or shop at world-famous Harrods.
Day 5: London - Paris
Board the Eurostar train for a speedy transfer (approximately 3 hours) to Paris. Free time to try out the Metro, visit the d'Orsay Museum, or have your portrait sketched by an artist in Montmartre.
Day 6: Paris - Versailles
Start your first morning in Paris with a guided city sightseeing tour. See the world famous symbol of Paris, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe, and more, ending with entrance to the Louvre. Afternoon excursion to Versailles, the country home of the Sun King, Louis XIV. See the glamour of the Hall of Mirrors, the Grand Apartments, and the splendid Trianon Gardens, for a glimpse of palace life. Return to Paris for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Paris
A free day in Paris! Window shop along the Rue de Rivoli, climb the steps to Sacre Coeur for spectacular views of the city, visit the Musée d'Orsay or the Pompidou Center. See why Paris is called "The City of Lights" this evening on your included Seine River Cruise.
Day 8: Paris - Barcelona
Transfer to the airport and board your flight to Barcelona. Time to explore this eclectic city before dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Barcelona - Montserrat
Morning guided city sightseeing tour of the Catalonian capital, Barcelona. See the Gothic Quarter, the Olympic Ring, Las Ramblas, Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, a masterpiece of Art Nouveau architecture and more. Afternoon excursion to Montserrat - enjoy spectacular views as your coach takes hair-pin turns, climbing the mountain of Montserrat. Explore the Basilica and see the Black Madonna before returning to Barcelona for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Barcelona
A free day in Barcelona! You may want to visit the Picasso Museum, walk along the Puerto Olimpico, or visit Gaudi's Parc Guell for a most interesting view of scultptures and mosaics.
Day 11:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
