Teach By Travel - London Stage Right - England/Ireland/Scotland/Wales
Day 1:
Departure Flight.
Day 2: London
Land at London airport, meet your Teach by Travel tour manager, and transfer to your hotel to relax and unpack. Dinner and overnight in London.
Day 3: London
Start your first morning in London with a guided city sightseeing tour. See Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Parliament, Buckingham Palace and more. Free afternoon to visit the British Museum, shop at world-famous Harrods, or along trendy Oxford Street.
Day 4: London - Windsor
Board your coach and journey to Windsor Castle, an official residence of the British Royal Family. After entrance into the castle, explore the charming town, shop for souvenirs, or stop and enjoy a cup of tea. Return to London for a free afternoon - you may opt to visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, the Tate Gallery, or the Tower of London. Walking tour and dinner in the West End, followed by a London Theatre performance.
Day 5: Stonehenge - Salisbury
This morning, depart London for Salisbury, with its beautiful Cathedral, and a copy of the Magna Carta. Proceed to mysterious pre-historic Stonehenge and see ancient Druid burial grounds, before returning to London for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: London
Free morning to visit the Tate Modern, or walk along Portobello Road. This afternoon, experience the Globe Theatre workshop, followed by an evening performance of the Globe Theatre.
Day 7: Stratford - Oxford - London
Depart from London, and stop for a walking tour of Oxford for a taste of English academic life. On to Stratford-upon-Avon to visit Shakespeare's Birthplace and Anne Hathaway's Cottage. Return to London for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: London
Time to shop in Covent Garden, cruise down the Thames, or stop at the National Portrait Gallery on your free day in London. Farewell Pub dinner tonight.
Day 9:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
